Virtually nothing.<br \/><br \/>I checked into a couple local 2m nets.<br \/><br \/>I did a little mobile SSB in my car&#8230; although that may actually have been 2024, now that I think about it.<br \/>My poor old Suzuki SX4 finally gave up the ghost &#8211; just became too costly to repair.  Pulled off the cusomt ham plate and sold it for parts.<br \/><br \/>I might have done a little more this summer, but my mom when into in-home hospice care and that was pretty much everything we did for several months.<br \/><br \/>She passed at the end of August, may she rest in peace.<br \/><br \/>Meanwhile, I simply haven&#8217;t focused on ham radio at all.<br \/><br \/>Since I got relicensed during the COVID shutdown, I have been working from home almost exclusively.  I was able to squeeze in a little ham activity during the day.  But after mom passed, I was back into the office full time.<br \/><br \/>That really does make a big difference in finding free minutes for other activity even if the commute is minimal.<br \/><br \/>I guess I&#8217;ll see what 2026 holds.<br \/><br \/>Happy New Year and 73.\n\n<\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This has been a long, drawn out year.
